With a deep belief in whole-person care, she combines the best of modern medicine with holistic approaches to help her patients feel truly well-physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Dr Ahilan's journey into integrative health began during medical school at the University of New South Wales, where she became the first student to study Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine) as part of her degree. She travelled to Kerala, India, for this training-an experience that helped shape her unique and thoughtful approach to healing.

Her qualifications include:

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP, 2010)
  • Fellowship of the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (FACNEM, 2025)
  • Diploma in Botanical Medicine (2021), studied with renowned herbalist Denis Stewart

Throughout her career, Dr Ahilan has supported thousands of patients through complex and chronic health issues. She is especially known for her warm heart, genuine compassion, and curious mind-all focused on improving the health and happiness of those she cares for.

She is also a proud member of:

  • The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)
  • The Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM)
  • Doctors for the Environment (DEA)
When she's not with patients, you might find Dr Ahilan walking along the beach, tending to her garden, exploring vintage shops, sweating in a sauna, or spending time in nature. These simple joys reflect the same values she brings to her work-connection, care, and respect for the Earth and all members of our community.

Dr Ahilan looks forward to walking alongside you on your journey to better health, offering support that makes you feel seen, heard, and truly valued.
